About Brigitte Hök: I grow up in a small town in northern Hesse.1987 I have moved to Darmstadt where I lived ever since. My path led me to painting in 2003. More accidentally and surprisingly for myself, I discovered my preference for creativity and colors. My favorite is large-format paintings and portraits in an expressive and abstract visual language. My paintings are created intuitively, I let the canvas speak, I detach myself from the figurative. I just focus on the colors and then a very emotional, creative and lively beautiful painting process begins. Since 2006 my paintings have been presented at private and public exhibitions.
